Hello!

My problem is the following. I have a computer at the office using WindowsXP opperating system and I have a computer at home using the same WindowsXP. The problem is this: I brought 5 floppy disks, new ones, I copied something on them at work and I can't read them at home. If I try to view the contents of the Disk in command prompt the following error occures: The disk doesn't contain a recognised file system. ?????????? What does this mean. The floppy drive is good because I can format the disk, I can copy on to it and I can read the disk at work, but if I copy something on the disk at work that error occures telling me that the disk doesn't contain a recognised file system when I try to read the disk at home. I even tried rebooting the system with a startup disk and I still can't read its content. The floppy drive at work is good I think because I can copy on the disk, I can format it, or erase anything on it but I can't read the disk at home.

Your pc at work may have a funny firewall that blocks copying of info
