Hi

After spending 1200+ I hope somebody can help! I would be really grateful for any help!

Here is my problem: Built a new pc. This is the first PC that I have tired to build. Put all the parts together and everything seems fine. I have a Soltec goldflame mobo with an award bios and a serial ata hard drive. Formated and partitioned my Hard Drive. I installed the RAID drivers for XP via my floppy drive. Everything seemed to be going OK. I put in the XP installation disk and it began to copy over files and install windows. Here is where the problem began

It asked for the promise drivers for the hard drive. So again, I insterted the floppy that came with my serial ata hard drive but this time it gave me an error and said that the disk maybe damaged or is the wrong disk.

HUH? I'm really confused I don't think it is that that floppy is damaged because I installed the raid drivers from it in the first place? Although, later, after work I will check the disk to compleatly eliminate that.

OK all you experts Can anybody please help? Any idea? Anything that I am not doing that I should be doing?

All my thanks in advance
