This just assures me that in this league (BCHL) there is no such thing as "rebuilding the team". Well actually yes there is, but clearly when it comes to rebuilding a team it has nothing to do with the players it's all about the management! Yes I feel it is high time the Vipers start "rebuilding" for a hockey team!
"clearly when it comes to rebuilding a team it has nothing to do with the players"
Not sure why your sorry hokkeefan, it appears I do have a rather firm grasp of this bchl situation! (with the copied and pasted comment from my earlier post)
Maybe I need to clarify the obvious as well!!!
Do I wish Adam Tambellini bad luck or ill will?. NO! I wish him the best to his future and hope he succeeds!
Will I miss watching the Vipers "unsung hero" play on the ice? Yes I will!
It appears we "may" have him for 1 more year, but then again, only time WILL tell!
And yes, your assessment (the whole purpose of the BCHL to move young talents on to the next level) does reassure my belief of this nonsense talk of "it's time to rebuild a team in the bchl) When EVERY year the team gets rebuilt with players, but it is not truly rebuilt until there is a change in Management!
It may just be my interpretation of your comments, but it sounded like you were complaining somewhat of him leaving to go play for North Dakota so soon. Of course, every team's fans would like to see their current and/or future star players stick around and play for a few years to help win that (possible?) coveted title...and what I was saying is that the whole goal of anyone playing in the league is to obtain a NCAA Div 1 scholarship and to try to take advantage of that as early as possible. I don't think too many put that opportunity on hold to take the chance of winning a championship. Somtimes, it IS to their advantage to wait a bit before going to develop further, but most won't see that.
