Nice to see Macdonald get his 4th point and 3rd goal since his move to Powel R|iver, and the Kings now have a 6 point spread on the Caps... Way to go Mac!
Yeah - I was at the game last night against the express and Powell river won for the 8th time in a row since they picked up Mac, Burns and Villeneuve!! Back then they were six points behind cow valley and now they are 6 points up!! Nice move by Ingram to give up your captain to your arch rival just before the playoffs. Has to be dumbest move ever! But thanks very much! GO KINGS GO

Better than that it looks like MacDonald is thriving with the Kings - win - win. I forgot the cost of that trade, oh yeh.
I think everyone was expecting it to be Robak that was the odd man out not MacDonald. Robak's play has lacking, he's soft, and has health issues. Didn't make any sense to keep Mac on the Jr.B card and re sign Robak at all. I realize he is the only 20 yr old dman, but trade him in on a 19 yr old while you had the chance. I'm starting to wonder about how this team is managed, hearing there is no responsibility left on the boys, no curfew calls, the 20 yr olds are acting up and the players don't get along with the equip guy. Here goes another great looking team down the tank because there is no structure.
On a positive, a little effort every shift has payed off for Matt Grant, who has played his best hockey the last 4 or so games simply because he is working hard, WAY TO GO MATT! Wish I could see some road games live, because it sounded like he played good in Powell River and that seemed to be the start of the new Matt Grant.
It's time for Ingram to guit playing nice guy and take the team by the short curlies, laying it out to them and try to make them see the real possibilities this group of players have.
Im wondering how you can say the ingram has "lost"? All season the coast has been tight and everyone knew one bad weekend ( which every team has) and the standings would change Not to mention the injury bug has caught up to the caps . If they lose in the first round then he lost if caps lose in the semis it all depends on how they lose. Every year caps fans watch other teams pick our 20 year old stars up for the run and at least make the attempt to win it . Its refreshing to be the team doing the picking. Mac as a capital the past 3 years never was really an impact player and took ALOT of really dumb minors and as a 20 year you cant do that. ( dont blame that on coaching because thats under 3 different coachs).. Im glad Mac has a couple goals
Glad to see Mac doing well - he left it all on the ice (more than I can say about some of the guys) - I have to agree giving away the heart and soul of the Caps team was silly! He was their leader and the face of the team in the community. I wish him all the best and hope this will not come back and bite us in the butt! I hear he was just let go - if thats right all I can say is WOW - he would help any team - brings and leaves it on the ice and you need those guys to win!!!
HG8 who are you. Why do you think you know so much of the inner working of the team. I know Alf Orton is feeding you information to post on here. If I were the caps brass I would remove Alf from the team. He is a loser. Why does he leak this information out. Someone should go to Jimmy and Dale and let them know they have a rat stabbing them in the back. He is nice to their face and them throws the daggers at them on this forum using a friend to post crap about the team.
This isn't information I got from Mr Orton, I heard it with my own ears in the Capitals office last week when I was in there. He has told me of unspecific injuries (which I don't post), of certain players that drive him nuts, which I have posted. He has never been critical of the coaching, I can tell you he is very excited about this team and continually praises the co-coaching of Jim and Dale how well they along with Aaron have this team playing like a team.
In fact we're having coffee now and he is thinking of resigning.
Oh and mynag I know who you really are and you have given more info then you know... be careful who you talk to around the arena.
HG8 your totally wrong about curfew calls l know people personally billeting players on the caps they get calls all of the time get your information correct before you post your a wanna be trouble making fan that is all.
HG8 why are you so negative towards the caps. If you are a fan would you not want to see the team do well. The team is very good this year yet you want to try and put them down any chance you get. Alf is part of the team yet you two are always on her slanging the team. That is not very support of you two.
I've never heard Alf talk bad about the team on here or in person. Alfs pretty honest and calls it like he sees it. Nice to see in a world full of fake people

I have to laugh at all the so called experts on here. I think Jim and Dale know how to run a team. The choice to release Mac was made and Jim said in the Caps wrap that the decision was made by him. He also said it was a very tough decision and one he didn't take lightly. Let's see how things pan out in the playoffs. Til then let's quit with the rumors and stick to the facts.
