Re: chiefs looking at big fines and suspension to so called super stars of bchl

I was talking with Hills and Laurent at the game sunday in Duncan. Their understanding was that they each got 2 games. They also heard that Lawson got 6 games. As for the coaches, as of Sunday no word, Harvey was behind the bench in Cow.
I've watched the film several times and really compared to some of the things that have happened in the past this was fairly mild. Not called for of course but hey it's hockey being played in Canada. Things happen.
I would really like to know what Tanner Burns said to Lawson.... to get him to smell the coffee and stop what he was doing. Count me impressed.
players came to center ice and lawson face washed a chiefs and he speared him and bruce got shoved then two chiefs took him on..dirty hockey smyl..then you see him get jumped by a chief while in a middle of a fight..it was mainly two bad chiefs..
So Lawson facewashed a Chief after he came off the bench, so Lawson would be the guy that caused the whole thing. That would explain the leaving the bench penalty and the 6 game suspension.
you actualy got something correct..i call it as i see things..just like all my asessments on the bchl...yes but lawson did not throw his gloves off..face washing happens all the time..chiefs were just angry they lost and got oyt fought and hit..so the chiefs deservedmuch more for jumping bruce...

Have you ever noticed how tough hockeygod wants/thinks how tough the league should be or how tough his caps are. Then when anything happens to his beloved caps how he whines and moans for suspensions or how dirty this or that team is. Cmon hockeygod, have you ever laced on a pair of skates or are you just one of these rough/tough couch potatoes who think they know it all.

I don't think anyone has been officially suspended yet.
This is from the Chilliwack Times...
"The league is reviewing the video tape of the end-of-game shenanigans, but media services director Brent Mutis says that, because of board meetings this week, decisions on discipline may not be handed down until Thursday."
you a fan that takes then stupid airhorns to the games..cant you enjoy a good game without blowing that stupid thing..as for the caps they are not dirty they just stick up for themselves..no reason this season to play tuff as the tuff guys are not here now...the problem with cheap shots like the clippers and chiefs has gone too far..

Hills and Laurent have already sat one game for Chilliwack.
Based on the Supplement, all players are looking at a minimum 2 games for multiple fights that happened at Period End. Each coach should have a 1 game suspension as well, however I do not know if Harvey sat out Sunday in Cowichan. The thing that comes into question here is the fact that Bill was not in charge of his bench at the buzzer, having been ejected 10 seconds earlier. That would put the AC on the hook for the 1 game suspension.
The only thing that could be looked at beyond the 2 games is Lawson for "leaving the bench" which is 6 games under the supplement, and any activities that happened in the tunnel, although I don't see anything happening with that. By giving out "indefinite" suspensions it gives the league time to look at it after their meetings, and allows both Harvey and Bill to call up AP's for their games this week/weekend.
Why weren't the coaches assessed any suspensions? I thought if there were more than 2 incidents in the last 2 minutes then the coaches received supplemental penalties.
What a joke!
How can an event like this have suspension so lob sided I am so confused on how Victoria players get 3 games for leaving the bench and chiefs players getting only 1 or 2. Leaving he bench is leaving the bench
David Thompson (chiefs) comes out of the penalty boxes and sucker punches Pearce Eviston and only gets 1 game
That's just a joke. Shows how the league for some reason dislikes the Victoria Grizzlies so much.
The league has circumvented it's own supplement by cutting most of the suspensions in half and not fining the teams. Are penalties levied on the weight of the governors in the league? It sure looks like it. For those of you who haven't checked the supplement -
Multiple Fights ] Any player that leaves the bench, bench area, dressing room, or penalty box to become engaged in a secondary fight or become a third]man in a fight shall result in the following minimum penalties:
-6 game suspension.
-$1,500 team fine.
That is just one of 3 or four clauses that could have applied to the players, coaches and teams.
Chiefs and Griz - you got off lucky if the BCHL penalties are correct.
