Could they not have just played a 2-Day - 1 innings match? I am sure there could have been a chance for it to be done in 1-Day... but that would have been ok, as they could have played a 1-Day match on Thursday.
Besides, in the audio clip by Karam, it says they were going to play 3 three-hour sessions, my calculations say that would have meant around 130+ overs. So, they must have canned those plans and went with the 3 two-hour sessions? Wouldn't surprise me, as those WI players sure look beaten up.
However, it was good to see Canada could bat for 90 overs.
