Response to CRICKETERS IN BC,ALBERTA,WINNIPEG

"Quality of Cricket in BC, Alberta and Winnipeg is not even equivalent to 1st Div. in T&D. I played there before and that is what I know"

You making such a statement implies that all the cricket in BC, Alberta, and Manitoba can be lumped into one homogenous category. The standard of cricket in BC premier is of a significantly higher standard than in Alberta and Manitoba, which is not to say that there aren't good cricketers in Alberta or Manitoba.

More importantly, the points made by Mukul and Mangina effectively sum up what I and other Western Canadian cricketers feel towards Toronto-centrists such as yourself. There's no need for me to repeat them.

Interestingly enough, the John Ross Robertson tourney this year will supposedly include the best team from the TDCA also. The tourney will apparently be held at the Toronto Skating and Curling Club, on September 4-5. Should be interesting to see how a Lomas, NSCC, or Salak team does against your top team/s. The new-format JRR combined with the inter-provincial in June should finally settle east-west bragging rights, and also give an indication of just how big (or small) the gap really is.
