I like the idea of having posts with new replies move to the top.
I'm not too sure about having a count of how many people have viewed your thread, though. I know of a similar system on another forum, and it's always nice to see that 100 people have viewed your thread, but no one's bothered replying! Or the other situation where only 3 people view your thread. Kind of hurts the ego a bit.
I find with the pop-ups that if you leave them open, but just minimise them, then they stop popping up after a short time. Just leave them open while you're on the board and delete them after you leave.
What I do like about this forum is that you can preview your posts before posting them.
