School concern...July 26 2007 at 9:47 PM | SES Parent |
| I called last week to check and see if the rooms had been assigned and was very hatefully told by the school "secretary" that they had not been assigned yet. I ask when they expected them to be ready, and she once again hatefully told be LATER.. I had issues with her last year, and contributed it to the stress of the school year, now I am really concerned if she is still this way! My daughter said that the kids are afraid to go in there that she jumps onto them and yells at them.. Am I the only one that has noticed this? I thought our kids were suppose to feel safe going to the office - not be treated in a manner that they are afraid to go in there? |

My sister-in-law is a teacher at SES and she has complained many times that she is that way! That she acts like it is HER school and that you are wasting her time by asking her to do her job! |

I called the school on several occassions last year & was spoke to in a rude manner & tone of voice. I went to the school on 1 occassion & it seemed as though she was frustrated because she had to mark on a slip of paper a few times so that I could check my child out of school.
I also called the school one time (concerning a matter on the school bus) & was put on hold for quiet some time, after which, she finally got back on the phone to tell me that the principal was busy. I then asked what would be a good time to call back & her response was I don't know-She is always busy. I then left a message with my name & work phone#. The principal didn't return my phone call & when I did get in contact with the principal the following day, I quickly realized that she had not received my message at all. She said that the secretary must have been too busy. Couldn't she have written it down & left it in her office (which is only a couple of feet behind her desk)? Is that not her job?? |

My son is in the same grade as her kid. He said that her son was even allowed to take his SOL at a different time? Wonder what was up with that? I know who's daughter she is, but heck what is he NOW.... why would HER son be allowed to retake one of the tests when all of the other kids were strictly told to be there? |

I'm surprised that you were even able to get through to the school by phone because Audrey is talking on the phone 99% if the time that she is at work. That phone should be for school business only but she stays on it all the time just talking to family for the fun of it, but then you let a sick child need to call home to get a parent to come get them and Audrey takes a fit on them and dont want to let them use it. | |

The rooms will be assigned before classes start. They have every year before - they will be this year! |
