Panthers and wolves would be great. They would thin out the deer and run off the coyotes. |

ive seen once mountain lion and i had a black bear on my back deck one day. it would be cool to see a variety of animals but also kinda scary in a way with all those wild animals running around . | |

I have seen bear in several places around where I live lately, not the same size so I know theres more than one. I know a few people who have seen little bob cats around too, and know someone who caught one in a trap. I have also seen a couple panthers over the last couple years, one just about a week or so ago. I remember hearing them where I used to live when I was little between the Rockhouse area and Rush Creek (I believe that is what it was called). I would hate to think they would want to bring in something that could be even more dangerous to our children and pets. Wolves would probably kill the coyotes, but then you are bringing in a larger more dangerous dog. That don't make a lot of sense to me. As far as the over population of deer, I sure have seen a LOT of bucks this year. Maybe they could open up a couple "doe days", I'm sure that would help a lot to thin them down and help the many people that like deer meat stock their freezers. I don't see what Elk would hurt, I do believe they have released quite a few of these already in eastern KY, and maybe some in VA, but I'm not certain. I know several people who swear they have seen a few around here. |

There has never been a case of a healthy wolf attacking a person in North America. On the other hand there has been much property damage and loss of life to coyotes, deer, and dogs.
