Is Raines' devotion to Patton good for our kids?October 21 2007 at 11:38 AM | SES Parent |
| Will he carry through with the steps of dealing with complaints about HIS DAUGHTER .... or will he just drop them in the trash! The past has proven that he will NOT go against Mr. Patton, so you have to wonder - why would he want a position that is suppose to be for the kids and staff of the schools, when he will not defend them!
THINK ABOUT IT GUYS! |

Amen to your post. We need someone like Rocky Barton on the board. Someone who has the education and will be man enough to take a stand for the educational system. He certainly will not be a Bill Patton yes man as Donnie Raines has always been. |

Something to Think About
| Think about this. | October 21 2007, 1:28 PM |
If you have a child in these schools, or know someone that has a child, and that child is mistreated, either by the main one herself, or a staff member, and you go to your School Rep. and nothing is done. It is not even taken to the Board. How would you feel knowing that you help put that man back in office. Because this has happened in the past. He has been advised of situations, and nothing was done. (They probably just sit back and laughed about it.) |

| mr barton | October 21 2007, 2:13 PM |
will go with the little click that is trying to take control now. watch and see if it doesn't happen that way everyone who is not in the click can either kiss ass or do double duty. because they will make it harder on the ones that are not in their little world. if mr barton wins get ready to do alot of ass kissing to try to get along with the little world, because you will not be asked to join or be welcomed to it. |

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. You can't possible think their isn't clicks now.......................... Give him a chance, he truly wants what's best for the students and school. |

I believe Rocky will be great. I have asked him many questions on certain things and he said I will do my best, people may get mad at me but I want what is best for the kids. Rocky has a nephew and neice going to school so don't you all think he would do what is best for them... |

That's what Mr. Rocky Barton will do for SES as well as all schools in the county. He will not be a Patton yes man but will work for the good of our students and faculty. Respect is not something freely given but earned which Mr. Barton has surely done. Vote for the one most qualified for the position, Mr.
Rocky Barton. |

| I wonder | October 22 2007, 6:30 AM |
I have to wonder has there EVER been a vote on the school board when Mr. Raines DID NOT agree with Mr. Patton? If so, and you are a Raines voter please let us know! I can't think of one time that he did not vote with him. Talk about a click! Please Sandlick voters think about this and put Mr. Barton in for Sandlick district. I don't think he will vote with any certain party..he just wants to help our schools. |

People if we don't vote for Rocky Barton, we're making a bad mistake, as we all know the ones that are in office now think they own it and can't be beat. Sandlick voter's please think about this, and vote for a person who will listen to us and try to help us in any way he can, Rocky has a spotless reputation and will help our young ppl who have their teaching degree, and not the ones who don't, if we don't elect him, we're losing the best chance we'll have to get help in our district. |
