How many of you have had a "legitimate" claim that you should go to the sheriff's office with something that you believe you need the right for protection, justice, and help from the same justice system that you pay for, but get only instead, " a run-a-round"?? Let me give you an example, and many will hit me with "they should have". but put yourself in the shoes of "well, I did not expect" they would have...
Recently in a separation, my 2 daughters and wife went to a Hall resident and asked to pick up my daughters son as was discussed by the mother and father. The father who lives with his grandparents flatly refused the arrangement, and said "go to court". Allright. fair enough, but he did agree to let the mother see the child and even made one of of the grandparents move aside to let my wife and children enter to see the little child.
While inside, the father was pushing the mother all the while and nothing was said, but when the child was in the mother's arms and the pushing continuined, then the mom said enough. The grandfather then pushed the grandmother of the child, and then ONE GRANDCHILD HELD DOWN THE GRANDMOTHER, WHILE THE HALLS BEAT ON HER. Now. You may say so what? Well if it where your child? Wife? What would you do?
I asked for help. I wanted justice done. And nothing. The police did not arrest the people that held down a woman and let two other people hit her.. I told them in no uncertain terms that retaliation would happen. And when it did, My family were arrested. And are still in jail.
You tell me that there is no injustice in this county? You tell me that one family don't count over another? I say bull. I know better. I am tired of this. It has been this way since I was a child, and being a adult, I understand the way it works, and it's not right.

I also went through a horrible ordeal and I am still in fear for my life AND I could not get any help and I was arrested also.I am a christian mother of two.
i understand. like you, i thought that if i asked for help, then help would be there. my wife and child were arrested, and "yes, they didn't do it", but, honestly my wife and child "one of them 8 years old", didn't do what was said they did. they tried to do right, they just was where there wasn't any witnesses except for the ones doing the accusing. So now, the burden of proof lies in our ability to prove what we said against those that said differently.
they say that your innocent until proven guilty, I say, why then is one arrested and then have to pay so much for bond in order to stay free enough to prove their innocence?? family, money, and who you know is very important around this area. it is now as it has been in many years past. i grew up here. i am not stupid. i work, and raise my children here. and moved away for this reason somewhat.
i'm now back, and here it is again. i am not going to run again. i do love this area, i just know that things as i am running into has to change. that's all. i'm NOT trying to put a big problem out here, but I am trying to make a bunch of people wake up to a problem that is not just a recent thing.
I know the people in question here.They are in close friends with Mr. Hammonds and they can get him to do and belive anything. The same people in question here had Mr. Hammonds pull my daughter over looking for the same child in question Mr. Hommonds told her the reason he stopped her she was speeding. She was on a UNPOSTED road doing 15 mph. We know he was looking for this child because he was with the people in question and keep walking from my daughters car to the other people's car asking them questions about the child. And I agree with you something needs to be done about our justice system
