The "Perfect School"

January 4 2008 at 10:46 PM
Just killn time

Going on the post below regarding consolidation, I was thinking - if you could make the "perfect" school (just for ranking purposes lets only place one teacher per grade) who would you have:

I will start with Elementary School:

Kindergartin: Ms. Tabitha Keen
First: Ms. Debbie Merritt
Second: Ms. Gloria Turner
Third: Ms. Jean Oquinn (she was the BEST!)
Fourth: Ms. Janis Anderson
Fifth: Ms. Patty Oquinn
Sixth: TIE Ms. Clara Sutherland and Mr. Ben Sutherland
Seventh: Ms. Donna Ownens (even though she is helping the kids from a different angle her teaching skills were the BEST!)

Gym: Ms. Karen Fleming
Library: Ms. Vicky Barton
Music/Art: Ms. Sharon Fletcher (she was strict - but she made sure you got the beat!!! LOL)
Secretary: Ms. Sue Woods
Principal: Ms. Angie Sutherland (fair - strict - understanding - unbendable)

These are my picks - what would yours be?

I agree almost completely up until the Music/Art part.
I think it should be.
Music- Mr. Rick Marney
Secretary- i believe Ms. Vicki Barton should do this as well :]
Principal- Mr. Jimmy Smith

my favorite teachers

January 8 2008, 1:18 AM

My favorite teachers were Rosanne Kennedy, Pat Large, Linda Burress Mullins, Carolyn Rose. I also liked Brain Baker as principal and Carolyn Childress as nurse. There was a Ms. Deel for music also, I think she retired while I was still in school. They are not all teaching where I had them or a couple even teaching at all now, but I really liked them a lot and have kept them in mind all these years.

Sorry if this sends more than once, my internet is acting up pretty bad tonight.
