■ Relay for Life Women’s Night Out set. The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 26 from 3-7 p.m. at Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church, 146 Kiwanis Park Road, Haysi. ■ LPN registration under way. Registration for the Practical Nursing Program at the Dickenson County Career Center is now in progress. Applications may be picked up at the career center. All applicants must be residents of Dickenson County and must meet one of the following criteria: high school senior for 2008-09; high school graduate, or; GED. Testing for admission to the program will be administered on Saturday, May 10 at 9 a.m. There is a $15 fee for testing which is collected the day of testing.
