| No Spin, just wanted to let you know that I went to the Abingdon rally today and Bill Clinton shook my hand and signed my Hillary for President sign.
And, now I'm in Roanoke awaiting Hillary's speech tomorrow!!!!!!!
I knew you'd be excited for me. haha NOT.

| Careful Amy, sounds like stalking to me. | February 10 2008, 8:44 AM |
Just kidding, that's great you got to meet Bill, and see Hill later. Too bad more young Americans aren't excited about politics. |

| You mean Monica Lewinskys ex-boyfriend......you should have called me Amy. | February 10 2008, 5:57 PM |
I bet you won't wash that hand for a few weeks. I am glad for you though. Its not often that anyone can actually get close to a President and shake his hand. I almost went out of curiosity to see Slick Willy but instead I'll wait till Dubya comes around---not. |

It was AMAZING to meet Bill Clinton, I have PLENTY of pictures and of course, THE SIGN! too bad I have to wash my hand though, what a tragedy! haha.
I went to abingdon, stayed in bristol friday night to go get in line for Bill saturday morning, got in line at 12:30..keep in mind, it didn't start until 4:30!!!! I waited that long, but I was first in line, right beside the press so that was again amazing. I actually told him I loved him before I even thought..hahaha (Bill that is) anyway, after I got back from there, in which after standing in line almost 5 hours to get a good standing place, I stood for another 2 to hear him.
So, I left there and came on down to Roanoke to get a room there to see my girl Hillary. We get there, stand in 70 mph winds outside the freezing cold for 2 hours, we get through security, we get a AWESOME seat because we were one of the first few in line again, we wait in there like an hour.. a guy comes up to the stage and tells us the news that broke my heart..NO HILLARY! she actually was IN Roanoke, but couldn't land her plane because of the winds and the airport had closed because 80,000 people were out of power in Roanoke, a many fires had came about on 81, it was terrible. I was sooooooooo mad that I was in tears, I had stood in line, my feet and hands were completely numb and for nothing. So, then all of a sudden we hear "HELLO EVERYONE! IT'S HILLARY CLINTON" she had actually called the office (we were at a brand new high school, Patrick Henry I think it was) and they had put her over the intercom and let us all hear her and she apologized a million times and told us that she was sending Bill (which didn't satisfy me AT ALL i had already met him) Monday at 6:30 and everyone that was in the gym got a "golden ticket" and would be first priority tomorrow. Which is great, but not for me. I'm almost 4 hours away and I have school tomorrow...so, no Hillary but I did get to hear her on the phone..and I did get to meet Bill and get an autograph, so it was a pretty awesome weekend.
