■ Car, motorcycle benefit show set. The first annual Black Diamond Cruisers Car and Motorcycle Show will be held May 3 at the Haysi High School parking lot, Haysi. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. All cars, trucks, motorcycles and trikes (all makes, models and colors) will be judged. ■ Cystic Fibrosis benefit walk. A walk to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be held Saturday, May 17 at Splashdam Church. Sign-ups begin at 9:30 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10:30. For more information, call 835-9221 or 835-8128.
■ Binns-Counts events announced. A clothing sale will be held at Binns-Counts Community Center on April 24, 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. daily.
■ Hospital gift shop offers many items. Come by Dickenson Community Hospital’s gift shop for Hannah Montana purses, angels, jewelry and several gift items. We also have Ties on-line.
