get ready tigers, football time is at your door. We are waiting on the pass not the run. I hope we see 5wr because you will need them. The ground still hard at sandlick. should grow more grass.Just remember pv has had the spread offence longer than you. Phill has showed us a trick or two. Honaker wins the BDD, try stonger schedule next year. SEE YA IN two wks $$$$$$

pv throwing the ball what a joke!!!!!

lets think about when pv starting throwing the ball a lot---------------- if i'm not mistaken it was when a past haysi player started helping coach. i think his name was cory b. and the round mound of joy, phil, opened his eyes to colley's coaching methods.

successfully coached the Jones boys. They are naturals. I don't think Phil can claim the credit at all for them.

passing vs running

August 13 2008, 10:24 AM

this post was about pv being a passing team. i think phil ran the ball when he had them boys. so pv has always been a running team.

Pv has run the spread offence for about 10 years now. They ran the ball with the Jones boys back then you see. That's been awhile, I hear they will be running a Tom Turner style offence this year and mix it up with a more balance attack.
