I don't live in Virginia anymore, but if I did I would be happy to help organize a clean up day for Haysi. My question is who will?
Just add your name and contact info to this thread and everyone who cares get together, go to the mayor, be proactive, and clean up Haysi! Go for it! Be the people who make change, instead of complaining and waiting, wishing, and hoping for someone else to do it. Find the inner man that knows to do good and will! I know you can.
I'm sure the town would pay for garbage bags, buy water for workers, and generally support an organized effort by community members to help clean up Haysi. It just takes people getting off their lazy behinds and let their legs do the talking instead of their mouths!
