Everytime I visit Haysi when I turn at the intersection at the Pizza Plus. I bout go blind from looking at that ugly wall. Whoever owns the old ABC store ought to be absoluetly ashamed of themselves. I am sure their mom and dad would be ashamed of them. I think they ought to put a donation bucket and everyone put $.50 until $50 has been raised and the owner can buy 5 gallons of paint and paint that eyesore.

I will say one thing that wouuld work really well is if you dont like what some one else has just turn you head who know you may be ugly also

Chad Barton bought that lot and his workers tore down that building attatched to the old ABC store
You may want to contact him.
I bet he would come with some excuse not to pay the $50.
He probably does not have the spare cash.

I think when he bought it he or his crew did tear down the building attatched to the ABC store.
The Person who did own the old ABC store was in ill health and has since passed and was probably not able to see about the demolition.
I am sure he did not like how it turned out.
But, since he has passed, I do not think he will be able to repair it as he did not do the demolition when he was here.

you people just go from talking sh*t about one person to another. get a d@mn life. they said the wall was ugly they didnt ask who owned it, why it was tore down, who tore it down, how much spare money they have, what the building used to be, who owned the property around it.............. GOOD GRIEF!!! get some hobbies or better yet volenteer to paint the d@mn ugly wall!!!!

Why don't YOU call him? What business of yours what he does or does not have? As far as I know, he has always be more than generous to others(ie working with families on funeral costs) , his community and the schools. He hasn't been in the best health,either, So a d@mn wall is probably not a priority of his. How much have you done? Quick to point the finger....

If the Barton's own or are responsible for that ugly wall, I think that one or both of his son's or his son in law could find time to paint it.

I would like to know where you live that you can buy a gallon of paint for $10.00?

Why dont all you all that are so concerned about the "ugly wall" in town, go out and together buy some paint of some kind and paint it together??????????
