| My child is a student at SES. As I am sure every other parent within the Dickenson County School System, I am extremly pleased with the phone notification that they now have. I just received a "reminder" of the return to school! What a great system this has turned out to be! I am very pleased with it! I know Buchanan County does not offer this service, not for sure of the other counties.

some parents list their cell numbers as well as other family members in case they release early
it is a great system!

its not pleasing when your phone rings at 1am and its a recorded messege from the school, thats what has happened at my house a few times.. I was very angry about it.

You should report it to them so they can try to avoid that happening.
It is supposed to go out immediately once it is called in....
