Hello Everyone,

Currently I'm trying to learn more about my family. The Fleming side. I was raised in foster care from age 9 months and don't know a lot about much of my blood relatives on the Fleming side. My grandpa was Pat Fleming who married Lexie Mullins, I barely knew Pat. I don't know a lot about his side of the family as he left my Granny years ago and I was so little when this happened. He passed away last year. I do know all of my aunts and uncles, that is Pat and my Granny's children, but none of Pat's brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews etc. I've always wondered if I favor any of his side of the family. I was told once I did have the Fleming forehead.

I met one of my cousins in high school, (Porchia Deel) she would be my 3rd cousin. I met her mother Debbie also and grandmother Trula who was married to Pat's brother. Porchia and I made the connection when we talked about who our grandparents were. I don't know anyone else though, which is sad for me. So that prompts this message from me today. It's the beginning of a new year and I would love to know more about my blood relatives.

I would love to have photos of Pat's side of the family, especially his parents, who would have been my great grandparents. Yes, I'm Lorraine's daughter. I'm 28 and live in Alabama now. I would love to see photos of you and you tell me who your mother and dad were and if you have children and their names. Thanks for responding.

Pat has living sister named Maude Fleming from bartlick way whom daughter is Linda whose last name may be Owens, not for sure. Was told your grandmother did live toward Tarpon in an area called White Ridge.. don,t know if she is alive. Maude or Linda may be able to help you. Linda did work in the school system.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my original message. I truly appreciate it. I do know my Granny Lexie that lives on Tarpon and have been close to her most of my life. Unfortunately I never knew my grandpa Pat very well and his side of the family. Linda Owens did get in touch with me and has provided me with so much wonderful information.
