Seriously though, this is the really annoying thing about these *#$%*&ing latex mold cast as they all look like they are the original down to fake pitting and forge lap creases. It scares the bajesus out of me to see how convincing these things are as many of the things we look for in a good axe are produced and made believable by this casting method. If by this time I had not seen and handled others of this group I'd be sold on it too. I also would be very interested in seeing what the other designs were produced by this method. I heard they also had an "english pipe axe" head with pitting produced buy this same process. If anyone has any of the old "Log cabin store" catalogs with pix please send them in so I can post them.
