      Thank you for your post to our Fabric Painting Forum.

      The technique name you are looking for is Watercolor Fabric Painting or more commonly called a "wash" technique. It is accomplished with smooth, non-latex, dilute-able fabric paints that are high-quality. Cameo paints are high-tech, acrylic fabric paints that dilute with water beautifully.
