I was wondering if anyone could help me. I love to paint on fabrics like denim and canvas etc. But would love to paint on white leather shoes... what paint should I use? I understand there is something out there to do this... but not sure what it is called. Very worried that the paint will peel off the leather.
Thanks for any help!
I have been painting on leather shoes for some months now and what I have been using is fabric, textile and good (rather expensive) acrylic paints.
I have been running into a problem with some shoes and the paint cracking and coming off especially with kids shoes.
I too was wondering if the was a particular brand that I should use or if there was some sort of gel medium that one could add to the paint and give more elasticity and make it bond to the shoe better.
Hi, the paint you need is Angelus, you can get it at www.turtlefeathers.com
its a leather paint, they also have preparers and finishers and they do not crack or peel. A great product!
