- seeing the movie "Pleasantville" and thinking, on coming out of the cinema: hope this sort of thing won´t happen to me, ´cause I could probably manage wearing a long coat, but I don´t think I would be much good fighting for my life with a sword! (though, on the other hand, if it gave me a chance to meet the ROG, I might take the risk!)
- getting an uncontrollable fit of demented grinning waiting in line in the supermarket next to a box of mentos mints...
- visiting our local mediaeval church and listening to a tour guide tell the legend of St. Bartholomew, who was skinned alive (nice customs people had these times...) but wouldn´t die and had to be beheaded also (!)
- living a hunter-gatherer life on the net, loading things down in the night and spending the next morning printing out half the internet to put in one of my big obsession folders intended as a substitute for the net during my netless working days
- considering to take up my studies in archaeology again, which I dropped nearly two years ago to become a goldsmith... just so I could understand Methos´ background better! (No, I´m joking - I´m really interested in archaeology and ancient history- always was...)
