It's called "Beautiful In My Eyes" by Joshua Kincaid

and I could write a story around it if I tried hard enough. I love writing Duncan and Tessa stories because of the utter love they had for one another as well as a strong enough respect that they didn't feel threatened by each other's actions. When Tessa died, I felt so strongly for Duncan--nearly broke my heart as his was breaking. To have evoked such a strong reaction in so many of us I have to applaud both the writing staff, the directors and the actors. I think that it was the first time on American tv that we actually saw a strong woman role model who was capable of taking care of herself in any situation, who had the ability to keep her head when the bad guys came to call without resorting to screaming for help, who retained her femininity and sexiness throughout while under the most unusual circumstances, and also have the most giving as well as compassionate heart one could imagine or hope to have. There could have been only one for Duncan in my book--and it was Tess. May she rest in peace. Amen.
