Right now, off the top of my head is The Wars We Choose It's the first in a trilogy. (The Battles We Lose and The Victories We Claim) They are by Sandra MacDonald. The first story is alright but it leads into the second and third stories which literally made me cry!
If you've read it before, you know why I recommend it, and if you haven't, go to it then! As far as I know, it's historically acurate. (I'm really not much of a history buff)
