| Actually Ralph, I think you mean kurokuro. Kuru in motu means mucous.
KT - Bridewealth is similar to bride price but there is an exchange of gifts / food / money / land between the brides family and the grooms family - i.e. not just one way to the family of the bride.
You might have more luck getting credible and authoritative responses via facebook - try Sharp Talk - too many trolls on PNGscape.
Alternatively you might find a "Wantok Association" that is based in Melbourne or PNG students group at one of the Uni's - if there is one, find out when and where they might be gathering next and ask your questions to them directly. Hope this helps.
