Hi Team, friends & Colleagues
I feel this is my obligation and a good idea to forward to you all the update from the Round Table Discussion held in Canberra from 14-15 September 2009, although I did not attend. Some imperative and crititcal issues discussed in the round table meeting such as accomodation, student concession, (for our case our post graduate students will benefit), and others paramount points attached which I thought we ought to know and might benefit us well now or in the future. The Federal government has decentralises these responsibilities to the state governments premiers to take an empirical and pivotal role to lead to address these ctitical issues facing international students at its level immediately. This will be a collaborative effort with the Federal Government.
Please find some time to read through the information published in the media which , I have attached a copy of the media release which includes the Communiqué that was prepared at the conclusion of the Roundtable.
