BEHOLD THE DOOR!
Revelation 4:1 "After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven" NKJV
There was, is, and is to come a door standing open in heaven. The door is Jesus Christ.
John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" NKJV
Everything begins and ends in Christ Jesus for He Himself says that He IS the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega, the One who was and is and is to come. He is the door that leads us into eternity. What door are we looking for?
The door of experience. That door is Christ Jesus.
The door of truth. That door is Christ Jesus.
The door of revelation. That door is Christ Jesus.
The door or salvation. That door is Christ Jesus.
There is no other way to the Father but through Christ Jesus. There is a door that still stands open today. The word door means portal, entrance, gate, and door of the kingdom of heaven. When we desire to access spiritual reality we do not seek the experience. We seek the person who leads us into all things for He Himself holds all things together. That person is Christ Jesus.
Colossians 1:15-18 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence" NKJV
Christ Jesus holds it all together - the universe, the kingdom, the nations, and the people. He has the preeminence for all things were created through Him, for Him, and in Him. To go through the door means we go through Him and Him alone. We would do well to remember this for there is always a point of transaction when heaven actually meets earth and that point of contact is Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit.
Are you hearing His name enough in this insight? We would do well to remember that when the focus is taken off of Jesus in any corporate gathering, no matter how big or how small, we lose the affirmation of the Father.
Matthew 3:16-17 "When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" NKJV
The Father Himself takes great pleasure to affirm the Son and open the heavens. The Father will affirm that which is held together in Christ Jesus. When we desire an open heaven over us, we are simply asking for Christ Jesus to be made manifest and preeminent. That which is coming is greater than what we can imagine. That which is coming is not a revival. It is not a reformation. It is not a manifestation. It is not an experience. You don't have to travel far and wide to receive it. Someone does not necessarily have to lay hands on you to receive anything. You simply ask to enter the door that stands open in heaven. The Father will bring you in. Into what? No, into Him. That which is coming and is here Christ Jesus. He was and is and is to come.
