Obama praises Peresident Gul

Presidential candidate of the U.S. Democrat Party, Barack Obama, described Turkish President Abdullah Gul's recent meeting with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan in Yerevan as "a hopeful step" and praised this meeting.

Presidential candidate of the U.S. Democrat Party, Barack Obama, described Turkish President Abdullah Gul's recent meeting with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan in Yerevan as "a hopeful step" and praised this meeting.

In a message released on the occasion of the anniversary of Armenia's independence, Obama stressed that the step taken by Turkish and Armenian leaders could bring normalization that would be welcomed with pleasure.
