Paradise Lost: Smyrna 1922
With Giles Milton
Monday, September 29, 6 - 8:30 pm

Glendale Police Community Room
131 N. Isabel St.
(between Broadway and Wilson)

A FREE event sponsored by the Friends of the Glendale Public Library.

Author Giles Milton shares his insight and research into the compelling true story of the burning of the port city of Smyrna by Turkish forces and the mass murder and exodus of its Greek and Armenian inhabitants.
Milton draws on eyewitness accounts to render these events in all their horror, and ends with an almost incredible rescue led by an unlikely hero.
