GENERAL PROSECUTOR CALLED MURDER IN KOMITAS “VENDETA”
“In recent 2-3 days serious murders have taken place in Armenia,” said Aghvan Hovsepyan the General Prosecutor in National Assembly meeting.
Remind that four people were murdered in Spitak and one was serious injured. Three people in Stepanavan were also injured and the mayor of the city was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The General Prosecutor mentioned Stepanavan case where the mayor shot from his gun. The Prosecutor said that it should be discovered whether it was a defendant action or it is a criminal action.
Another noisy murder took place in Yerevan which, according to the General Prosecutor, is the continuation of Hunters’ Union Chairman’s murder in November 8, 2007. The General Prosecutor called it revenge and mentioned that in other countries they call it “vendeta”.
