Armenia, Turkey and the Jewish Lobby
Anonymous
City: Chicago State: IL
The Armenians are bringing up another Armenian Genocide bill in Congress. This time around I think Turkey cannot count on the Jewish voters and Jewish politicians to vote against the bill. Perhaps this is due to pressure from the Armenians or because of Erdogans` actions towards Israel.
No doubt Israel can do better than Lieberman, but Jews will not accept another genocide of the Jews. Turkey is free to criticize Israeli actions, but any attempts to wipe Israel off the map will be met with resistance from the Jewish people.
The trouble is that by denying the Armenian genocide, then killing Kurds, the Jews and Israel are the next possible target. Erdogan`s incitement against Jews and Israel are not good and only spell trouble down the road. Turkey has lost Jewish tourists, most probably support for its denial of the Armenian genocide.
I don`t think Europe or USA will accept a nuclear Iran; I think Turkey is still having problems with their democracy move.
