Terry's idea of the arm rest during preening and hiding under the arm is very helpful indeed. It revitalizes the arm when it feels the strain. The good thing is that the arm rests easily on the beach ball.
I also have found that if you hold / carry the wing nearest you at intervals during your performance, it also helps in relieving the weight factor. Make it flap first then say "stop that" by holding that wing.
Today, I have re-modified my arm illusion to be attached to the ostrich permanently. A bit more rehearsals putting it on and out.
Do you want me to post a picture of the "secret" arm I made or should I just keep it as a secret? Or, maybe, just share it with Ostrich owners?
