I attended a graduation this evening. Quite an accomplishment. No, it wasn't me that graduated. There is a book that states someone can become an expert at something once they have put 10,000 hours into it. Essentially that is full time work for 5 years. I have often thought, What am I willing to do for 10,000 hours? (Does eating count?) As a younger entertainer I challenged myself to learn one new skill each year enough to add it to the show. This included, guitar, balloon twisting, cartoon drawing, and failed attempts at yo-yo's and piano.
I notice that Jeff Dunham is doing some stand up before bringing out his first character.
I'd enjoy hearing from folks to find out what they add to their puppets to make their show unique. Acrobatics? An animal?
