Got the best idea from my wife:
I will use the 4 color silk blendo with each color representing Who, What, When, and Where. These will be the outline for the program.
Who: Major and minor characters. I will do a skit with a major character from a story. Then I will do a skit where the ventriloquist figure roleplays a minor character in a popular story.
When: I will modernize the story of the Good Samaritan, using a boy who wrecks his bicycle.
Where: Space ship produces a character. This will let the kids know that there is no limit to WHERE the story can take place. They can make up their own planet!
What: Oh, That's Good, NO, that's bad skit will teach about trying to come up with surprise twists in the story.
Plus, the things I mentioned above, but placed into categories of who, what, when, and where.
Should be fun! And I don't have to write any new skits, just oganize some from different shows to fit the theme! |
