All stuck up

I learned this past week the glue I used to reassemble the various Axtell puppet parts I've collected wasn't sufficient...I used hot glue... but I also had four days of performances in 97-101 degree weather and the hot glue literally disintegrated. Anybody know of a stronger glue for latex and fabric I can use until I can afford some new figures?
