I've read different threads in the past on this site but never commented.
I love the look of the axtell puppets and would love to own one myself some day.
I'm a full time missionary for a non-profit children's ministry in Northern CA. I would like to start using puppets in my teaching time with the kids.
Those of you in Christian work where do you get your material to present?
You will find a wealth of skits athttp://www.creativemin.com. Check out their skit books. They even have one by Tony Borders (yours, truly) called Tony and Friends! I'm in contact with them right now about creating another skit book for them.
looking for a name

Having been a teacher for many years my nick name is Miss Pam even my adult friends call me Miss Pam.
Any one have a creative name besides Miss Pam's Puppets?
Tony's response: I think the name Miss Pam's Puppets is actually a good name. Easy to spell! Helps them remember your name. There is no limit, of course, to puppet names, unless it is already taken. Muppets is a brand name, for example, so we can't say "Oh, I use Muppets." Be sure to include kids in your search for a name. They can be very creative. Brainstorm with friends from your church.
Do you plan on focusing ONLY on churches or do you want a name that won't scare away secular shows? You may use my old name, Puppet Apostles (which sounds better than Dummy Disciples in my opinion.) I no longer use that name because so many people had trouble spelling it. Or they would call ME the Puppet Apostle. (Dummy Disciple)
