I am finding myself doing adult programs a bit more than I originally thought I'd be doing.
My Puppet Ministry and Storytelling has a primary base for children, cause that is where I started my Ministry, and I am still doing Childern Moments and programs.
I am being invited more and more to come to Nursing Home Facilities and put on shows. I have been using a lot of my Children Skits only adjusting them slightly. But, I can only adjust them so much.
I have two skits at the moment that are adult format that have worked well. Kids would not understand the stories, they would only understand the puppet is talking. When I say adult, my material is still clean stuff. {:->
But, if you all got any stories or ideas that you think the older adults would enjoy I would be greatful for your help.
I write and rewrite material all the time that I stumble into it for kids, but when it comes to adults, I am fuzzy. {:->
Maybe, I am actually on the right track and just do not have a clue.
If this information will help you out. I do not do magic at my shows. I work the puppets through skits and stories. I also tell short stories to the viewers without the puppets. Some of the stories are acted out, some are just told. |
