We are in the process of revamping, re-recording and adding to the offerings of AxTrax routines (all on CD now!)
Questions for those that use them:
1. What was your favorite routine and why?
2. What didn't work for you?
3. What NEW routines for What Puppets would you like to see?
4. What venues would you like tapes to be made for? Church, holidays, school, health, safety, etc.
Using puppetry in my church and Sunday School, I would like to see more Church-related routines. Especially for the Birds, the Book, and the Possum. Humorous sketches of church life, reasons behind holidays, fun talks about the Bible or God, etc. Your catalog and website have made me excited about puppetry all over again, and I can hardly wait to save enough to buy some of your beautiful puppets and routines!
AxTrax Magic Drawing Board Birthday tape has become indispensible to me - and always ALWAYS gets applause. The Art-O-Matic is, I feel, so-so - should go over better but doesn't have a "hook" to rivet attention quite as well as "finding the birthday kid." Christmas is good.
By the way, you should make a variant Birthday tape with "kids" instead of "kid." And if you're gonna do that (ain't digital editing wonderful?) go ahead and do "birthday boy" and "girl."
Wayne,
Thanks for the note. All of the AxTrax have been remastered and new material has been added to some. The Birthday Magic routine has a very festive new birthday song and several other surprises. http://www.axtell.com/axtrax.html
