Hello all I have reached a creative block and thought I would seek your help because you all have a great collective creativity. I have just gotten Vincent the vulture and am trying to come up with a halloween program using him with my bird arm illusion. I am a clown character and hope to use him to tell a spooky story not to scary but am blocked comming up with humor, any ideas? Thank you so much in advance for any help. Chuck Lyons
I suggest buying the Humoring Your Dummy by Steve Taylor available from Axtell. Steve teaches solidly. I think his lessons on dramatic structure, routines and character differences are well taught. Basically, learning your routines is a lot of work. So is writing. Taylor shows you how to move your vent figure and ,of course, how to begin writing a script. I find my best writing ideas come while driving to work. It's also an excellent rehearsal hall! The challenge I find is not writing, but finding the time in a way too busy week to start typing. Hope this helps. Radio Ron
