The Jazzman.....

"I WANT ONE"...You guys have done it again, and come up with a stonker of a puppet,I love it.
Alot of my work is in old folks & Nursing homes, and this guy will go down a treat, getting them all singing along and clapping...what a brilliant idea, well done to Steve and the team....superb.
I have also used the new Halloween CD, after Steve kindlysent me a copy for suggesting the idea, and it went down a storm in this years shows, ALOT of adults saying that they liked the safety element of the CD.
It was always a dream of mine to own at least one Axtell puppet,I now have 3 of them, and they definitely sell my show.....saving mycash, "Jazzman" you are next on my list.

You could call him Chubby Checkers! Of course, some folks get mixed up and call him Chucky! His favorite movie is All that Jazz! He keeps his lips in shape by running a kissing booth on the weekends.

How can you beat Borders on a roll? Chubby, I have never "done" seniors' home although I drive seniors all day. We have been warned that it's a challenging venue for a beginner since one can face a 7:00 pm audience which has already been "snowed" by the staff so everyone goes to sleep earlier; or an audience who might say they can't hear one. Yet you seem to thrive. I get on well with seniors..am known in the retirement and chronic homes and would love to hear about what you do and how you amplify your show. Good on you. Ron Crowley

Ron...I have a booking for a OAPs Christmas Dinner in one of the posh upmarket hotels in town, and I am providing the after dinner cabaret, sharing the bill with an Al Jolson sound alike, if only I had the cash to order "Jazzman" now....what a double bill eh?......
Al Jolson & Louie Armstrong!!

Al Jolson

If you have an old lady puppet perhaps Al Jolson could sing "Mammie! How I love ya', how I love ya', to her."

He'll probably sing "California, Here I Come" so you could talk about Arnold Schwarzenegger, the governor, or fantasies of going to Hollywood, or Disney, etc., to tie the two together.

Chubby, what kind of sound system do you use for your gigs? Thanks, Ron
