I have been stopped by many people who have asked whether I saw the ventriloquist on "America's Got Talent." He was voted best new talent by the public and won a million dollars. (I hope this doesn't ruin my chances next year.)
Terry Fader (the ventriloquist) has done us all a huge favor. He has re-introduced the word ventriloquism to the American public. I no longer have to advertise that I do puppet shows. I can say, "I'm a ventriloquist!" Now is the time to start advertising your show! September is a great time to push your December show to businesses (Send it to human resources.)

Bring an Axtell Animal show to your local zoo. Talk to them about being available for field trips for a certain amount, or for a family day at the zoo.

After school care (Childcare) (Ask now about the week after Christmas. They have the kids all day and often look for entertainment, but the paperwork has to start in September or October.)

America's Got Talent has had several vents and a 1st place winner - Terry Fator.....Jay Johnson just had an award winning Broadway show and goes on National tour.....Jeff Dunham is a major Comedy Central hit with his TV specials and DVD sales are #1......Ronn Lucas is a major star in Vegas.....Jim Barber a headliner in Branson......the David Letterman Show featuring Ventriloquists week.....this door is just cracking now....wait until it's wide open!
