Forum 54 seems to be the host of our forum, and therefore has the right to advertise. Thus all the other pop-ups, such as Smiley Central. I think Axtell has one of the best forums going, so I can't complain. I appreciate all the time people put into it. I'm on two others and one of them has almost no responses coming in.

Okay your guys have to earn your keep now with even more great postings and Axtell Idea sharing. I have paid them to take the ads off. I'll try it for 6 months and see how we like it. There will be more features coming too.
Steve it was me that started the thread...Sorry. I didn't have the site ever pop-up until yesterday so I thought I had an adware/spybot problem so I threw the question out there.
I could have lived with it now that I knew (Tony told me) that it was the sponsors pop-up.
Sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused you.
It's not just the popups we got rid of but All Advertising which is better anyway. So no more google ads, popups, banners etc. Better for all. Thanks for prompting it...we all benefit.
