It takes a worried man to sing a worried song

Ron Crowley

The appreciation of the Axtell site has deepened within the last 48 hours. In the last two days I have been checking out an avian-type magic sight. Pushing ENTER introduced me to some of this site's brand of adult magicians.

Folks, as you know I come to the Axtell site with decades of exposure to major news makers..bad and good. Yet, in the last 48 hours, on this magic site I have been deeply shocked by reading threads which feature some adult respondents exhibiting cynicism, lack of adult and professional guidance, and even a number of verbal, physical threats to young magicians which even the most fried North American instructor would never utter!

On this Axtell site, on the other hand, I have been graced with good manners, and super instruction underlined with the understanding that a search for a solid spiritual life is normal.
Again, as scholar,Joseph Campbell, showed in his book, one in life has to walk, like Bilbo Baggins, a circular route of "adventures and experiences" to return home a changed person. Thanks.

Ron...I think all that was a witty way of saying that you appreciate the wholesomeness of the Axtell site. Sorry the other Magic site didn't pay off as well. You really need to stay here and stop venturing out like that in the wild! Stay in here where it's warm and nice...have some chocolate and a cookie. Come on, where is your loyalty??!!! : )

Mr. Crowley:

Thank you for the kind words for all of us who contribute to the Axtell forum. I think one of the greatest attributes is people like yourself who check it on a regular basis and are willing to post constructive articles. I don't understand some of them, but I have my collegiate dictionary handy.

It was nice of you to take the time. Here is a joke as payment for your contribution. It came from a junior high girl, who received it from her grandfather.

When the ants look like people, you're too late.

Don't forget the chocolate and cookies you were offered!
Thank you for venting. I will be venting at a show tomorrow, myself.
