Okay, folks! Apparently Steve has hidden an Easter Egg on www.axtell.com for us to find. There is only one. If you find it don't tell us where it is but come back to this message and reply that you found it! We'll see who the fast egg hunters are!
P.S. Don't ask me any questions about it as I am also going to look.
Perhaps Steve left us a hidden hint in his previous post. Let's examine it.
"I found it! WOW!"
The common term for "I found it" is Eureka! That was also used when finding gold in California. The animal on the California state flag is the grizzly bear. Steve lives in California. Perhaps we should click on the picture of the grizzly.
Eureka was made famous when a man jumped up from his bath having discovered that he can measure the volume of an irregularly shaped object (his body in that case) by seeing how much water that object displaces when submerged. The dolphin and shark are submerjed. Willie the Kid comes naked. Hmmm.
OR the second half of the message is WOW!
Looking at that backwards for subliminal messaging we get "WOW!"
If you turn your computer monitor upside down it reads, "MOM!" Perhaps we should go to the family page and click on MOM. Or on the kangaroo, which is a mom.
I was kidding about Steve's clue before. So this bears further thought.
Okay. Wow is the same backwards and forwards, making it a palindrome. The most famous palindrome is the phrase, "Madam, I'm Adam".
We already discussed the naked wise man who yelled, "Eureka". Now we have Adam who was naked, or bare. We also have the bear on the California (gold country) flag. We are back to the bear again!
Hmmm.
Incidentally, here is a phrase you may want to use when vanishing an object.
"And thus I have made the object disappear... or so it would appear!"
Tony I had to edit your post out. I have a contest going with Genii Magazine until May 15th and can't reveal it yet even though easter is past. It still goes on for a few more days.
