I-Fest Housing

March 12 2008 at 5:59 PM

I'm planning on attending I-Fest 2008 and saw the note about motels vs. dorms. Last year I attended a puppet conference (I won't say which), stayed in the dorms, and was bitten over 30 times by what I believe were "bedbugs". I had an allergic reaction and had to go to the doctor. I'm familiar with bedbugs as my daughter had bedbugs in her apartment a few years ago, and my daughters were bitten over many months before they discovered but was biting them. They are very difficult to get rid of as pesticides that were used in the past are no longer used. I'm now a little dorm shy, but was thinking about staying in the dorms because of the reduced cost. Now I'm wondering if I should stay at a motel instead. Any comments?

There are also married housing apartments on campus, though they are a little further than the dorms.
The lunch and dinner lines are long on Thurs., fri. and sat. but the food is excellent all week.
I have stayed on campus 8 different years and never had trouble, although you may want to pack a small fan. Also bring a collapsible umbrella.

Thank you for not listing the heights in centimeters!

minor correction

Of course, if I had I would have done it in centimetres. Of for distance I would have used kilometres(keel-o-metres) because in Canader to pronouce kill it must have two els.
Of course, Excited States spell checks constantly rate our spellings as wrong.
