in praise of AXTRAX

I just needed to say thanks, Steve, for your Axtrax! I think they are just great! My first one was "christmas bird" wich I used for a preschool Christmas program. The kids LOVED it and the adults were just as impressed.
Since then i have gotten several more and keep them ready in case I need to change things or come up with something fast.
The best part about them is their ease of learning. I was just in a situation where I was performing with the white board for a hospital talent show. This hospital faced an almost impossible decision of having to close down for 10 days last summer to correct a construction mistake that had to be corrected. my routine was an interview with the board president (the character i drew on the board), (no pun intended!) about how he had to get a buy in from all the different departments. I thought it was great, snappy and would be a lot of fun; well, after the first rehearsal, ,....silence!!! not a sound, not a clap, nothing!!! ( I guess they were a bit sensitive about the closure. I was politely asked to replace the routine or perhaps I could, hmmm,... sing?
I called Steve and told him what was going on, we went through the Axtrax catalog and he suggested "ART-O-MATIC". he got it to me that day, I had just 2 hours to learn the routine before dress rehearsal that night. I debuted the routine at that night's dress rehearsal, and performed it the next night in front of over 300 people from two hospitals! Need less to say, the routine was a hit! It was so well recieved that I have already been asked back for next years show again using the white board!
I have since found out that folks are still talking about the routine and remember it, but have already forgotten some of the singers. i am now getting a list together of other Axtrax I want to have in my arsenal, Betsey, get ready!

Thanks Mark! Glad it worked out for you. The routines are a good bridge over into the world of ventriloquism. We are also producing AxTrax for our Hands-Free Puppets.... they will be called "MagicTrax" when they have the servo data included in them for the Magic Version. Also we are making many of the routines as "MotorMouth" which are used with the Hands-Free puppets including the Vent and Magic Version.

AxTrax will be continued on and on...with more subjects to help you market your act. Safety, Bullies, etc.

Ax

Birthday song

The original Birthday song is copyrighted. We cannot perform it verbatim.

We have 3 birthday AxTrax

(BIRD)
Happy Bird Day - which is somewhat close to the original but the lyrics and melody are a little off. Happy Bird-day to me (not to you, to them) Happy Bird-day to Them.....

(DRAWING BOARD)
Birthday Magic - draw a cake and it sings an original birthday song. It's kind of a jamaican song
It’s a Hap, Hap, Happy birthday song,
It’s a special time for you, all day long;
We’ll party with your friends and your family,
But don’t get too close, cause you can’t eat me! Hee, hee, hee

(WIDE OPEN for PUPPETS)(Wide open with 5 voices).
Birthday Party ... another original birthday song:

A birthday song, A birthday song,
A birthday song, it’s fun to sing, so sing along,
Let’s all celebrate today,We can laugh an’ eat an’ play,
Sing a song, a silly song, a birthday song!
