Another avenue to consider is bullying prevention.
(We must be careful that we are giving good advice/message.) Some good sources I've found are Easing the Teasing (www.easingtheteasing.com)and Stan Davis's www.stopbullyingnow.com and the Department of Health and Human Service
http://www.stopbullyingnow.hrsa.gov/index.asp
Also, January 21 - 25 (or around there) is NO NAME CALLING WEEK
http://www.nonamecallingweek.org/cgi-bin/iowa/home.html
and PACER’s (Champion for Kids with Disabilities) third annual National Bullying Prevention Awareness Week is scheduled for October 5 -11, 2008.
And depending on where you live (and what country) bullying prevention week varies. Just google search for bullying prevention week. Some schools like to have that kind of show/presentation in September to kick off the school year.
